    The blended BDUs definitely dried faster than the 100%(ish) cotton blue jeans, but not as fast as 100% synthetic. I figure it will likely be a trade off but not nearly as expensive as the hunting branded stuff

    I’ve never worn pants with hip zips. That very well may be a helpful feature, but not one that I can miss because I’ve never used it. Does it just open a couple of inches to let air flow?

    You can buy Meindls online, try them on at home, then send them back if they don’t fit right. I’m sure other brands are the same way. I also agree on the lacing types
