My 6yr old Pitbull/Staffordshire Terrier/Shepherd mix, named Reggie would be flat out *GONE* if I ever went out into the woods with him, and let him off the leash! I swear, he's got to have Bloodhound somewhere in his DNA too, because he sniffs everything and follows his nose when I walk him in...- ButchA

Old truck appreciation (and high mileage)
I used to own a beautiful 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500, 4.8L V8, 2WD. Awesome truck!! The guys at the deer camp deemed it "the grocery getter" because I couldn't/wouldn't take it off road up the trails. 209,000 miles and it finally said, "enough". :(- ButchA

Heavy arrow tuning struggles
Wow.... I checked a lot of those arrow charts and am pretty much set, very lightweight, very easy, but need devastating cut on contact Magnus Stingers or Slick Tricks. 52# draw weight, 29" draw length, and 400 spine Gold Tip Hunter XT's w/ 100gr tips. -
Real World Hunting Setup Velocity?
Nice and easy, out of a (free - from my old USCG buddy) 2017 Mission Hype DT bow. 52#, 29" draw, 80% letoff. And a bunch of common GT Hunter and Hunter XT arrows w/ 100gr tips. FOC is roughly 11.9%, 388 arrow grain weight (total). Speed: no idea... But it's awesome! :cool: -

Peas -- done, harvested. Broccoli -- done, harvested (all but one, my wife read about leaving one where it might regrow). Tomatoes -- slowly starting to flower. Here in Virginia (if it really gets cold), my wife and I will light a fire in the fireplace. We have about a 1/2 cord outside right now, and that's enough. We also turn the two far back bedroom ceiling fans on "reverse" - so they draw in the fireplace warmth down the hallway and help keeping...- ButchA
