    Yeah, same glass between those 2 scopes. I wouldn't need the built in electronic level, but I do like the Alumina scope covers.

    Mcarbo trigger spring

    I recently installed one in my Model 70 Featherweight, it made a noticeable difference, just the spring change. Dropped the trigger pull weight by almost 2 pounds, now at 2.5 pounds. Have also done my 2 Browning X Bolts, and my Remington 750. All good!

    I guess that I called it a "deer cartridge" because all that I hunt is whitetail deer. I never said that it was "just a deer cartridge", and I mentioned that my neighbor uses it for elk and moose with good success.

    .270 is one of the deer cartridges that I have never owned. It was Jack O'Connors favorite, so that is saying something. It's also my next door neighbors favorite, and he even uses his for elk and moose, with good success.

    I have a Browning X Bolt White Gold Medallion in .30-06, and a Maple Medallion in 6.5 CM, both with Talley's on them...works great. Also seriously recommend adding Mcarbo trigger springs to the X Bolts.

    Mr Browning.

    The MCarbo springs work very well. I have 2 X Bolt's...a Maple Medallion in 6.5 CM, and a White Gold Medallion in .30-06, both with MCarbo springs and they are great! I have them both set around 2#, and could have went lower. An easy and inexpensive upgrade.

    Absolutely love those scopes VX-5HD...I have 3-15x 44, and a 3-15x 56, both with Firedot Duplex, I highly recommend them, and Schmalts!

    I have a 6.5 CM in a Browning X Bolt Maple Medallion that I put a Mcarbo trigger spring in. It's a pretty little rifle that that shoots well. Have never used it for hunting yet, too many other choices I guess.
