USFS bid to salvage log windfall in Idaho and Montana
The amount of blowdown in some areas is insane. I wonder though how they are going to designate areas for salvage and do things anywhere close to timely if speed is part of the real concern. I can look at one of our local fire salvage log operations as a good example of being no where close...- TheTone

Heavy arrow tuning struggles
I will say with those paper tears and inconsistencies with flight it’s cam timing, cam lean and/or needing some rest adjustments. As for arrows I think it’s really hard to go wrong with an Easton axis. They’re easily available, tough and been around for a long time -
Ultimate broadhead?
I shot them for years. Killed a bunch of elk, a deer and a javelina with them. They always shot well for me and had great penetration. I broke one in an offside leg bone of an elk but to the fair the bone was also broken -
