Are tungsten turkey loads worth the money?
I dont hunt turkeys much but a good friend of mine loaded me 50 12 gauge tss 8.5's...1 5/8 ounces shot. Cost was $160 for those 50. I still haven't shot one. Last fall I gave 10 to another good friend of mine. He sent me a picture of a bird he killed in WI this morning...48 yards and a nice...- BuzzH

As to the not so great tags, IMO, that is where these non profits need to start stepping up. There isn't a single pronghorn unit in the NE part of the state that doesn't either have outfitters or landowners that would participate. With any regulations like this, I believe it's prudent, and only fair, to consider intent when it was actually passed. The intent was 100% to give people with a significant physical disability the season extension. In other words, hunters missing a limb, in a wheelchair, or suffering from MS...- BuzzH

Is it though? I would say someone that is hiking in 7 miles one way with llamas is perfectly physically fit. I don't think anyone is saying they aren't qualified for a donated tag, just whether or not they actually need the 5 day extension. I'm pretty favorable on the donated tags, I've donated a tag in AZ myself for a young girl with cancer. But, I'm a lot less sure about a perfectly physically fit...- BuzzH
