Hearing Aid Use
Hearing aids are a very sore subject for me right now. Been wearing them for 40+ years. I lost one last Nov. on a hunting trip - long story but a rope brushed my ear and hearing aid went into a fast moving creek while crossing. I’m now on my 4th pair since that incident from different places...- cowboy

Antler Point Restrictions
I’ve hunted out of a pack in camp that was one of the first to implement brow tine requirements on elk. At first I thought it was a good idea, twenty years later it would take 2 elk to total a 330 count. My non biological background now tells me all inferior genetics are passing their gene’s on. -

So which caliber, in what rifle ? The 6.5 Creed, the 6.5x55 Swede, or the .257 Roberts
I giggle at these never ending debates on what caliber is better or best. After being the nut behind the bolt on hundreds of various kills (gophers up to bear and moose) watching clients with varying talents and equipment, here is my opinion based on all these experiences. I ain’t seen one... -

Powder scale rcbs balance beam bad?
In my experience it could very well be the pivot point is very slightly worn at the pivot. It’s been quite a few years ago but I’ve had 2 beam scales rebuilt and recalibrated. Take a penny, nickel, dime and quarters to a fancy jewelry store and have them weigh them on their scales they use for diamonds. Annealing question
I believe the answer to that is no one knows the ‘perfect’ number. Standard internet answer is every 3-4 reloads. We can guess but that is a swag. It depends on the chamber and throat of your rifle in comparison with your reloaded ammunition along with quality of brass I load for multiple...- cowboy

Removing the factory muzzle brake from a Savage Model 11 Long Range Hunter
The reason we cut it off rather than try to salvage it was the fact the dadgum thing wouldn’t stay in one place when it was working. Shoot a round and it’d vibrate the opposite of its setting. Quite frankly it was a PIA so we just eliminated the problem. It shoots more consistent cut off than... -
