Last scope I bought was a Leupold VX3HD. My next one will likely be a Burris XTR III or the Meopta Optika6. The Meopta is supposed to be Schott (German) glass. -

All I use. Matches what the gunsmiths I’ve had test my guns. Takes years of technical training and apprenticeships to use it correctly though. -

All we used out to 600 M with an M4 was the Trijocon ACOG TA01-NSN. All whopping 4X. The snipers has 10X fixed scopes on the M24 SWS. -
How to ruin a Leupold
Leupold and countless others have made “the best scope” and in the guise of marketing and increasing sales, added more doodads and fidgets to an already functional and ideal piece of kit and now they are not longer “the best”. -
Rifle Cleaning Kit
I’ll use an electronic bore cleaner maybe when I start seeing accuracy fall off. Otherwise my “gun cleaning habits” is now to make sure the moving parts are wiped off and operate correctly and lubed. Barrel rarely gets touched -
Best Bullett for 7mm Rem Mag
The two I’m having great success with accuracy wise. Not a Rem Mag, but the same 7mm boolets. Past experience with corelokt has given me no reason not to use them. -
