For sure. Once had a guy tell me he was 20 miles in the wilderness when he arrowed his bull. Packed it out all on his lonesome in early September......

    Metalworking Hunttalkers!

Awesome! When it comes to steel harnesses or any metal really, its always been interesting to see the Industry Scales commonly used despite all convert. Brinnel was one we tested for alot, however it converted to other testing standards as well. That H scale for HSS if memory serves has a scale...

    Metalworking Hunttalkers!

Lotta of the main body of those blades are HSS steel. Given the heavy usage in industry's its a good material. Not exotic by any means but typically long lasting and easy to sharpen while holding good edges.

    When SHTF

Actually in a SHTF scenario, the skills that will matter are keeping society together in some cohesive and coherent manner with whatever expertise you have. Nobody is standing alone or in a small tribe.

So at 45+/- minutes per 1000ft elevation gain, and 1-1.5+/- Hours per mile in actual timed hikes with elite athletes, yall should be in Iron Man contests. My hats off to you let alone hauling an elk out in a backpack. Let's not forget the long term damage of anything over 30-35% of body weight...

    Colorado Filming Permit Denied

Never said duping, but selling. 85 isn't exactly a unit you just hike into. Especially with those that control the private access. Randy's showcasing of DIY public land was my point.

    Colorado Filming Permit Denied

Unit 85 in CO is plus 80% private. Not wading into the rest at this point, but unsure the motivation here and just wanted that piece of info out there. Pretty sure this is him. https://www.fulldrawoutfitters.com/ 2nd of all Arrow Dynamics was nothing more than a extremely great hole in the...

    I gotta quit drinking.

Wife's family and mine are full of alcoholics. My Paternal grandparents owned a bar in the 50s/60s and it was just a natural thing for them. They didn't get sober until I was born. Unsure how I feel about being that pawn, but at least in my life my grandfather was one of my best sounding boards...

The evolution of a dream shop build. Eventually with pics.

Figured as much but didn’t want to discount his DIY style or connections within the industry. I helped my old boss do his 40×80 awhile ago and concrete was the biggest cost. However, we already had the mobile cranes and such via the company.

Dunno what your budget/capital is, however I see this hitting almost 6 figures by the finish if contracted out. 40x60 with living space even at apartment level isn't attained without expense. I can actually see it hit 6 figures easily.

    Metalworking Hunttalkers!

They can be finicky but once you find sweet spots they are really nice to have. Had a couple of these for our Miller 252s. When I bought my multiprocess machine, I set it up primarily for TIG as that was a process I didn't get to do much with so am eventually going have enough time to learn...

    Realtors

I never said never, but hesitation is real. I'm headed to my Bank in a few to discuss SBA and Capital Operations loans, despite a 99% outcome of NO. However, fate favors those who work for it.

    Realtors

Not sure geographically, but I know here Spring/early summer is the buying season. Never hurts to get 2nd opinions though. I've a network of 3 realtors for that reason and made friends with an appraiser that came a few times over the years. Might be worth a call

I'd also believe with interest rates still high and the uncertainty/financial turmoil going on, that is impacting potential buyers as well. I know locally it is.

You and I are 100% agreement here. Success isn't dollars, it's contributing in the ways that not only make you happy, but those you interact with.

“What good did I do today?”

Put my son's new Body Armor/Tac vest together today before he head's in to deal with the ugly. Working nights by yourself with at times over 100+ creatins isn't easy. I tell him how much I love him every night before he leaves.
