New To Slug Guns Need Some Input
I had a duty Remington 870 with a 20 inch slug barrel that had rifle sights. With 2 3/4 1 oz slugs it shot consistently at 100 yards. I never shot it beyond that distance, but I think it would be good to 150 with the sights that were on it. Recoil was noticeable with the slugs. -

Buy a new 44 Magnum (Which would you buy?)
One thing to keep in mind are you going to shoot it often, if so the light weight advantage for carry purposes will be uncomfortable. Recoil is a huge consideration and can become a problem. At some point recoil takes the fun out of it for some. Then there are some that think it hurts so good ;)... -

2025 gear game changer- wows!
There are a few guys shooting BPCR silhouette that anneal after each firing. It's easier on brass and gives better neck tension. The new annealing machines make it fast and easy.- Dan O

How do you store reloaded ammo
Handgun ammo I use 50 rd boxes and long action rifle ammo 20 rd boxes. Short action fifty rd boxes. Hunting I carry a 10 rd folding cloth ammo holder in my pack.- Dan O
