It was a great tournament! This is the most brutally honest sport anyone can compete in (at least scholastically). If you have flaws in position, technique, endurance, or the mental game- you are exposed. You savor the wins and deal with the discomfort of loss the rest of your life...
I had to rewatch the semi's again. Crazy wrestling and great scrambles. Geller... not looking good right now. What's your team score on the other contest? I'm just surprised I put Trumble so high... especially after watching Bastida- that guy is an animal.
We had a middle school dual last night, so I'm watching round 2 now. Looked like Davis started screaming to his Penn St. coaches at the end of his match with Hardy because they didn't throw a brick. Wonder what was said?
Man, he’s got a “next level” gear or mentality about him. How many D1 guys can feel comfortable losing by 7 to other high level wrestlers, then come back and win like he does??? I put him at 9 points for that reason.
Ok guys. Through all the copying and pasting, I really screwed up some picks (I think I had 3 133 pounders on my list and Mendez at that weight ). Double check if I have your picks right. Warmer and Outlaw, you're on the spreadsheet. Gellar- I hope I lose 7 points because I'm...
Ya. But from losing to Taylor to then beating him with bonus points in the Big 10’s is unreal. Good adjustment, different attitude, and just attacked. Like we watched him grow exponentially since that loss.
Also, you need to pick the team that wins and their tournament score. That will break a tie if there are any. So, basically you have to pick the closest team score for Penn St.
Hey Boyz! Let’s do this pick’em contest for D1 wrestling. Here’s how it works: You will pick the champions at each weight. Your best pick, the wrestler who you think is going to be a guaranteed champ, you assign 10 points. The second best pick, 9 points, then third and so on. If you pick...
Oh boys! I haven't looked at this section ever. Good to see some more "wrastlers" on this site. Did you guys ever do the Pick'em contest on Intermat? We should do a HuntTalk one. (we can manage it ourselves since intermat quit doing it)
Last year the wildlife revenue was $220 million dollars. So, 9 million isn't much- especially considering that the wildlife shortfall is only 6.4 million. However, according to the report posted earlier, the NR archery draw won't be counted until December. IPAWS shows an INCREASE in sales...
I really have no clue either (shortfall), so I will have to watch. Perhaps we don't know for OTC, but in archery, since going to draw, we have very accurate data per game unit. I wish I took a screenshot of the units that still had leftover NR archery tags (there were a lot). However, it's...
