Hunt where they are and don’t stay where they are not. -
Buy a new 44 Magnum (Which would you buy?)
I carried a 4 inch red hawk 44 for years but it was a heavy piece. Ended up carrying a SP101 in 357 with hard casts for a nearly a decade. I’d go with the lightest one available that can handle the ammo you like -

Going back to Alaska to chase moose on a road accessible tag I have been applying for since 2014. I’m already marking up maps and talking to the bio. Got my muzzleloader components in transit to start dialing in loads. Spring turkey will be a small distraction.- 338win

Setting a muzzleloader up now and learned that 1x optics are legal in the state I will be hunting. I already have a peep setup but want to have a red dot as primary and have the irons as backup. How well do the rds or red dots in general work in low light. In the past when looking at animals... -

As is tradition, wearing out a pair of boots and digging ticks off my ass during spring turkey. Then most likely not drawing anything to continue defying statistics. This will be year 14 of applying and have not drawn anything with less than basically coin toss odds.- 338win

Chase AZ elk archery tag vs burning points for a late season rifle or muzzy hunt?
If I wasn’t trying to get a az hunt with my dad I would be trying to get one of the rut archery hunts. Plenty of “good” lower point hunts in other states to do in the interim years.- 338win
