New Illinois bill wants handgun ammo serialized
As a native (and finally homeowner there again) of one of the neighboring states with "weak/lax" gun laws that are supposedly the "problem" I would point out a couple of facts....1) By far the WORST most violent part of our state is directly what borders Chicago and it's absolute dumpster fire...- SFC B

I have a '20 5.0 Super cab , lb with the E-locker. Have had it since new and with good tires I have never had a problem getting places even remotely reasonable. Best all arround scope
I have the Z5i 3.5x18 BT 4W on my Seekins PH2.......like it so much that I am waiting on Z5+i in the same setup for my PH3 that I just took del ivery of (PRCiscilla). The only complaint ever was that the Z5 had 1in tubes and some thought they needed more vertical adjustment range, with the "+"... -
Knife People
Awesome....literally the only thing I have left from my dad's side of the family is a single tie bar that was my Grandpa's (he died a couple of years before I was born). Thankfully my kids will have some memory stuff that I hope will be meaningful to them.- SFC B

Side note, Trigger Tech recently bought Hawkins Precision here in the Springs (great products and the plant is only about 10 min from the house, have a couple of their rings) and I have been told by exec's that they will be build triggers here in the near future.- SFC B

Hunting Rifle Triggers
My Seekins and Weatherby rifles all come with TriggerTechs and are around 2.5 ish lbs. My Tikkas have the Mountain Tactical aftermarket springs. In the 22-250 I have the trigger dialed all the way down to probably 10-12 oz and in the 300 it is 1.5-2lbs. Happy with them all. I tend to be a...- SFC B

What to do with some savings
Simple and no risk right now for me are CDs......I'm getting 3.87% APY on 9 month CDs currently. Last couple of years they have been from 3.5 to almost 5 depending on timing.- SFC B

Pistol carbine suggestions

I have to admit they were MUCH calmer and reasonable than I would have been. The arrogance and greed might have pushed me over the edge. I have had equally bad behavior (sent video to CPW of a rancher running cattle off private, onto public and through a guys camp on opening day of 2nd rifle)...- SFC B

Youth elk rifle?
