I only have older experience with this.
My 1978 F150 windowed the block before the 3 month of age mark. And it did it again at the 6 month mark. It was fine after the 3rd engine. ( Ford charged me for the oil and filter both times btw)
The next F150 I owned was a 2009. It threw all the rod and...
I passed on 2 deer yesterday. One was a decent forkhorn and the other was a fairly nice doe.
I just didn't want to fill my tag yet.
I may or may not get a deer this year but I'm ok with that.
My success rate has dropped off since having to switch to archery from rifle hunting.

Safety has to be job #1. Unfortunately with familiarity comes contempt, or so they say. It only takes a second of lapsed safety procedures to cause a tragedy.

One thing I realized a long time ago is that the entire time I'm out hunting ( and when I'm not) theres lots of other hunting going on all around me. Irregardless of what any anti hunter wants or thinks about it.
