Some of the very best blood trails I’ve ever seen have been from 257 WBY. One appeared to have been blood poured from a bucket on a chest shot. -

You can get up to 2 doe tags in the initial draw then pick up 2 more in the leftover draw if available. Antelope numbers are way down that is why folks are saying to not use your doe tags. Look into a reduced price cow elk tag for more meat on your trip. -

Shooting 5 antelope isn't that difficult getting 4 doe tags is. There is a random draw for doe antelope tags and the odds for any unit with good access is low. WY doe tags
Doe antelope have saved a handful of my hunting seasons from the meatless category. After 22/23 winter, I don't see that hunt happening in the near future, at least where I used to hunt them. Trying to tag out on 5 antelope sounds pretty exhausting. I'd just focus on the Type 1 tag. -
2025-26 Season plans?
NM - D, E, A, Oryx and Javelina already bagged and tagged. WY - Draw for cow elk and doe antelope I hope I get an elk tag in WY and NM but odds are against me. I may only have enough vacation for 1 hunt though. If I get skunked I will head to CO for OTC- Redraider7

Critique my WY Pronghorn NON-resident tag application
So I'm a bit confused by this. This year will be my first year hunting antelope. However, if WY game and fish (the agency tasked with managing the antelope population) believe that there are enough antelope to issue doe/fawn tags why would that make the situation worse? -

2025-26 Season plans?
I'm in for Nevada Bull and cow elk Buck and doe antelope Deer. All I'll apply for. 12 points for Bull, so I'm hoping that should do it for a muzzle loader tag. I debated on applying for elk with my health, but went for it. And my wife didn't accuse me of being crazy for wanting to do it.- mevertsen

A little help in CO
CO is pretty tough for antelope. Most are on the eastern side of the state which is pretty much all private. There are some decent opportunities, but it takes a little research. Cross reference the draw report with units that have some public access. Likely easier to get a rifle mule deer tag... -
Recovered bullets
143 gr. ELDX, 320 yards. Quartering to, hit just under the spine and ruined the opposite tenderloin. Antelope doe dead in a few seconds.- Pucky Freak
