    American prairie. What's the issue?

I’m not a rangeland ecologist so maybe my eyes deceive me but I have spent time on some of their property over several seasons and the visual difference between their land and some of the neighboring ranches is pretty striking. Large, open expanses of short grass prairie vs heavily fenced...

Removing the factory muzzle brake from a Savage Model 11 Long Range Hunter

I had a tough time getting mine off as well but managed to do it. It is definitely affixed with something like Loctite. I inserted an Allen key across the diameter and that gave me enough torque to get it off

Ran its course, now in the weeds.

I use Charles Schwab(originally E-trade but purchased by Schwab). Interface is simple, works well and I have never had an issue. There are no fees for the type of trade you are asking about.

    Left handed rifle help

I got my son a Savage ultralight in 6.5 creedmore and it has been great. The accustock makes adjusting LOP and cheek rest height easy as kids grow, the rifle is very light, threaded for a suppressor and it is a tack driver. It is easy to find aftermarket items for savage actions. He has killed...

Needing to buy the wife some binoculars

I would look at the Leica Trinovids. I think they are the best in the mid-range.

Montana House Bill 676 - This could sell off 1.25M acres of State Trust Lands - that's almost 25%!!! This is not the Homesteading Bill

    Money laundering

Might sound crazy but I believe you can turn them in to the federal reserve and they will cut you a check for the face value even if things are damaged. I heard a podcast about it years ago. Might be worth looking up.

    Predator Call recommendations

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Let me know what your recommendations are for mouth calls. I have a coyote howler already. If I lived out west that is what I would have gone with immediately but I thought the advantage of having an electronic call up or cross wind would be really helpful...

    Predator Call recommendations

Paging @brockel and the other predator hunters on here. l I am looking for some advice on electronic predator calls. My son (12) wants to learn how to trap and call predators. We nuisance trap beavers together and I understand the basics of predator trapping, but I don't know much about...

    Inedible

You might consider picking up a jacquard to tenderize the steaks you want to keep. I use one to tenderize roasts that I intend to marinate and grill. It works well and I just pop it in the dishwasher to clean. I learned about it from Hank Shaw’s recipes

    Bear skull open mouth euro

I don’t have a picture but my grandparents had a wolf skull on a small round mirror on their dining room sideboard. It looked great. The reflection in the mirror was cool.
