How about an Eastern US hunting issue?
There's either 30 or 32 memberships. A membership includes your whole family. Each member gets 2 private plots. The rest are open for everyone. The thing is, most members hunt one private plot and nothing else. It's never really too pressured, but man does it have the potential.- jwatts

How about an Eastern US hunting issue?
Here's a snapshot of hunter density on a Mississippi timber company lease. Roughly 3k acres. There's 103 pins on there. Exclude gates and the camp house you end up with around 95 established food plots.- jwatts

3D printing terrain maps
I've carved a few terrain reliefs on my cnc from ash wood. There's a new site called Topomiller that's supposed to be easy to obtain the stl file for the area you want to carve or print.- jwatts

One last post. This one's for the number nerds. Before each trip we do an estimated cost for the trip. We split the cost and throw cash in an envelope to cover the expenses. Here's the estimated costs: We were looking at 2300 miles round trip, another 200ish while we're there. 2500 miles... -

We just got through putting my bull in the freezer. 63.5lb of trim. I mixed it with some brisket trimmings I had and came up with 75lb of burger. 2 packs of shanks, 10.75lb total 25 roasts of various sizes. I kept some whole muscles, others I cut to 1 to 2lb sizes. 57.5lb total 11 packs of... -
