I drew a region E Wyoming non resident elk tag and looking to talk with anyone who knows the areas well and or people who have had this tag before. There is a TON of private land so I am interested in finding pockets of public land to hunt.... Or, if there are reputable outfitters in this area... -

I need a turkey gun
fun fact, turkeys are the only species (I know of) where you can tell the sex by the shape of their poop. Toms/jakes will have a 'J' shaped poop :).- bmg2506

Sheep habits
I would scout as much as you can. Get to know the terrian, water, food, etc. It also will teach you where the animals are not.- bmg2506

Colorado penalty box?
I will tell you my experience. I drew a bighorn sheep tag in 2018 and was locked out for 5 years. I applied for a desert bighorn sheep tag this year in 2024 and was successful so I feel like I won the lottery.- bmg2506
