I have a stainless, left hand, M70 chambered in 338 Jarrett that hasn't been out of the safe in probably 20 years. Its a great shooter, 225 grn. Nosler AB at 3146fps. I also have a 250grn. Partition load at just over 3000fps. Both loads are below max and shoot under m.o.a. -

Zeiss customer service - wow!
Not Zeiss, but I'd like to speak up for Leica's customer service. I sent in my 10x42 Ultravids for a simple check up and whatnot. I received them back 8 days later. Cleaned, checked, with upgraded lens caps, and full documentation of all optical test ran on them. No cost to me as they are... -

Wax, spary or gel case lube for sizing
Imperial sizing die wax for ever. Do have some of the Hornaday wax and it's pretty good also.- cutty

120 gr 7mm Nosler BTs
They work awesome! They seem to be a bit tougher than the 140's. I've used them with complete success on whitetails for over 20 years in a couple of Model Sevens in 7mm-08. Very accurate and hold together well. I've only ever recovered one. That was a head on shot to the brisket that I found...- cutty

10x42EL vs 12x50EL
I have 10×42 Leica Ultravids. When I bought them I also checked out 12 power glass of various makes of what I call the big three. Leica, Swarovski, and Zeiss. The Leicas just fit my eye best and i went with 10 power because I was steadier hand holding them.
