If you guys have decent battery tools it's well worth it to get the chain saw. My BIL has dewalt tools and bought the dewalt chainsaw. It's impressive. I inherited some ryobi tools and a chainsaw was part of the collection. Even that saw was good while it lasted
I've switched completely to premix for saws and trimmers. Got tired of ethanol fuel related issued. Closest non ethanol station is 25 miles away. Ill take my boat there to fill up but just buy the methanol premix at the farm store.
I like old style. I had a bro in law bring it down from chicago when he came for holidays. We can get it now in southern illinois. A little surprised you can get it in iowa.
I asked the same thing when Buzz first posted. Was thinking of a 6.5 prc for my sisters elk rifle. Maybe not. Most likely go with the tried and true 7mm hunttalk.
Jim harmer (backfire guy) recommended these for a while for budget rifles.
OP made his choice but I would have recommended to save more and buy a tikka.
When illinois opened bobcat season there was 500 permits available. $5 to put into the draw. A bunch of antis put into the draw and won a few permits. Quota raised to 2000. Like several have mentioned, agencies will just raise quotas.
County failed to plow my road so i hooked up the blade to the tractor and plowed the road to the blacktop road. Im guessing we got close to a foot of snow.
Dog loves the snow.
