Can We have a Good informative Post without dickheads ?

Moosie: Here's a few bulls that are in your requested range (300-360). Stan may have trouble posting some examples of bulls in this range.......now 360-420, he'll have no problem. :D All of these bulls have been officially measured, so the gross and net are known. These are simply medium...

    wyoming whitetails

Don't know many ranchers that allow trespass fees.......but there are some TOAD whiteys there. This one was on a family friends property (near Sundance) two years ago.......man, I need to go bowhunt these things.

    CA Late Season Buck (pics)

Over the next few days I was able to sneak in on a few decent bucks.......and even missed one. I also, regrettably lost one. I must have hit him too high, as Jerry, Wally and I tracked that buck over 4 miles.....for two days. Never stopped and finally the sparse blood trail ended. A guy that saw...

Whats the biggest deer you have shot?

I have arrowed two deer over the years that were exceptionally heavy. One was a huge non-typical from Kaibab that gave me 205 pounds of butchered meat. The other was an old buck I arrowed in CO last year. I made two trips of boned-out meat that totaled over 100 pounds (including rib meat...

    2006 CA Blacktail Hybrid (non-typical)

Here's a buck I arrowed yesterday. He's a 5x8 no-typical that grosses 143" and should net around 136 1/8". If the measurements hold after drying, he'll be #4 in the state for his species.

    Biggest muley?

Aaahhhh, one of my favorite hunts......the archery rut hunt for desert mule deer. Here's a 192" gross/187" net P&Y desert mule deer we arrowed in 2003. So far, this is the largest "desert" mule deer ever arrowed in Arizona (according to the BIA). They do exist.......but are rare, especially...

    CA Late Season Buck (pics)

Well I’m back boys from my late season CA hunt……..what an experience…..both highs and lows. This is a very hard tag to draw (35 tags) and is a rifle hunt that I was going to try with my bow. I got up there the night before and set camp up. Checked on some deer I had scouted the week before...

    Wall Ped mount question...

Oscar: On a wall pedastal mount, I prefer the ears in the "natural" position. Not alert or forward, but not pointing back either. Here are a few pedestal mounts (center) of two velvet bucks a friend of mine has on his trophies. I think they both look natural and not the classic "ears alert"...

    Back from CO (pics)

What an awesome hunt. Beautiful rugged country that left me 158 pounds soaking wet. I'm sure glad I got into good shape, as the mountain did not win this particular battle. We backpacked in over six miles 4 days early to scout and were met with some of the worst weather in years...

    My 2007 CO Buck (pics)

Well, I finally made it back from the Colorado high country after being in the wilderness for eleven days. I can’t believe how good food tastes that you don’t have to add water to. What a hunt! I’ve never been sheep hunting, but this timberline backpacking mule deer archery hunt above 12,000...

    AZ Elk Hat Trick (pics)

Well, I finally made it back from my Arizona archery elk hunt. What an awesome experience. I’ve forgotten how great this hunt really is. My hat's off to the AZG&F for proper management of this specie. The hunt started out slow, with few bulls bugling and a full moon to contend with. Both...
