The TTSX is a brilliant bullet, my 80g knocks down huge stags, equivalent to, and sometimes bigger than a mule deer buck, I just don't push the distance.
We can't use any lead bullets anymore as the game dealers won't buy them.
Put it down to you having the flu, women have colds, men have the flu, I thought everyone knew that:ROFLMAO:
What a great result, and George at 83, amazing, hope for us chaps getting older yet!
That young chap was obviously raised well to offer you the hunt first.
You might think what's a flat lander Englishman giving advice, but this is only an experience.
Colorado 2007, family holiday, wife and 2 kids, 15 and 19.
I decided to walk up a 'fourteener' at the end of week one, but my wife started the same symptoms as your boy, we made the mistake of not...
Dave, just an idea for a flat lander like me, for the price of a Montana NR big game combo you could fly to England again, and have money left over.
I have had some huge stags on the farms I shoot over, and other species available.....no sight seeing though....hunting!
As you have experienced...
Damn Dave, first time I've logged in for months and got this news, that sucks, get home and get fit, since my last trip over I've had a stent, and today I'm having an MRI on my knee, we have things in common...getting old!
Such a great bunch on here helping you out this far, there is always next...
Where I live in SW England the rich SE England people bought so many second homes it forced the locals out and housing became unaffordable, some pretty seaside towns are ghost towns in winter as they are not rented out, i.e. airbnb, etc
We pay something called 'council tax' we only have one...
Dave, you were plenty fit enough when you hunted with me although that was many years ago and we were both younger.
Listen to your body, sounds like you are over exerting, don't do that at your age, I'm 65 next month, I run once a week, I don't push it, 156 max for me.
3 years ago I had 2...
Zeiss have just announced they will cease production of ALL sport optics in Germany by 2026
They haven't stated if they will be produced elsewhere or if they will honour any warranties
A chap in the UK contacted them recently about a faulty scope and they said they don't have the spares or plan...
As above really, although I would go, rod, line then reel.
9' 5 or 6wt
Chink rod's are fine, iv'e sold enough of them, top quality carbon.
Too be honest, there's probably only 5% of fly fishermen who can get the best out of a $1000+ fly rod
If you are learning, from the end of the fly line...
As far as I'm concerned this was one of the worst films... Sent Toyota Hilux prices through the roof
Didn't stop me buying one though, corrosion started to take over, it's living out it's last days o a nearby farm
So I went out and bought..... another!
Too bloody smart and clever for my needs...
