Hello- I am going into 53 in NM this year for second archery. I know it's high and steep and we've hunted CO so we're used to the high and steep and stay in shape through the year just for our elk hunts. Was wondering since you've hunted 53 quite a few times based on one of your posts if you could give me some pointers on some spots we have picked out? Appreciate any ad ice you can offer. Thanks

What do you recommend for someone who basically loses sight at dusk? I’m looking for a brighter scope vs the 40mm Vortex I had. When the sun went down I honestly couldn’t see.

I’m new to hunting and just bought my first rifle. It’s tikka t3x SLite in 6.5 CM

Hope to do deer hunt this season (west coast) and looking for scopes. Based on online research, zeroed in on Vortex pst gen ii 3-15X44 and Leupold VX-5HD 3-15 (44/56).

Can you please share how much they’ll cost? Please feel free to recommend more/better Options - I’m a complete newbie.

Hi, I have a sako AV .280 and want to put a scope on it. My first thought was a vx-3hd 2.5-8x36 as it is small and light. I don't know anything about the firedot, I am intrigued with the CDS but have no knowledge of how well that works. I have seen more than once you recommending moving up to the vx-5hd. Would this be a good fit on this rifle? Or will it be really cumbersome and overkill?
