Utah400elk, I was digging way back and found a comment of yours on this forum about the La Sal mountains and mentioned turkeys. I hunted Utah last year hard with no luck and was trying to get ahold of someone who spend some time in the woods and would be willing to point a guy in the right direction. I’m headed to Utah archery elk hunting with hunters choice tag on September 7th-18th. I was thinking about trying the south slope bonanza or Yellowstone. I noticed from some earlier posts you have hunted Utah and was hoping you could give me some advice on good starting points. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I drew the kaibab 12ae muzzle tag this year with 3 points. I was totally not prepared for this to happen so I’m scrambling to come up with a hunt plan the dates are nov 5-11, I see you hunted this area once do you have any good advice on where to camp and how to hunt it ? It looks to be my one chance to hunt there, I can’t even get az game to call back phones are all full not very helpful. Thanks Bill
