Rimfire cans, what do you have?
I have a dead air mask. Unless I am using a super high velocity round, it is amazingly quiet. If I am using something like a velocinator, there there is a slight first round pop. Nice rifle for a teenager to pass down
Just a suggestion. For not a ton (guess it depends on your definition of ton) more, you could have the local HT gun guru p_ham build a custom gun for you. He and I have traded emails and his prices are/were very reasonable. Just sayin!- utah400elk

Radical Prostatectomy
Probably a little TMI but… I had a prostatectomy in 2013. I did a ton of research and had a actual surgeon do the procedure vs the robotic. I had mine done in Denver. New mexico Unit 15
I had that tag a few years ago as well. I saw tons of elk and had a lot of opportunity. 7MM-08, max range for deer/elk?
I think Buzz uses a 7mm-08 in elk and deer. He might be a great source if he views this one. My son took his cow cross-canyon (laser range finder verified) right at 400 yards. The cow dropped at the shot with 140 Accubonds. Best of luck.- utah400elk
