Has anyone hunted elk from a kayak
I fish out of a kayak. Much better tools for the job vs a kayak. I built outriggers for mine and I still would not load a deer on it. (Maybe a cottontail or a squirrel!) -

Greatest Shot Ever--A Thread--Post Your's
Great and/or lucky. (also keep in mind they happened 45-50 years ago and less "wise") As a "ute", I killed a blackbird at ~ 50 yards with BB gun. Launching shots like we always did. It was at the top of a large tree. When I shot, it rotated 180 to hanging upside down. Never could hit it again... -

For USFS, find the most recent MVUM (Motor Vehicle Use Map). Google the US forest and MVUM. (Some forests may have multiple maps due to size) MVUM's are also downloadable via Avenza (Free) so you can have them on your phone. -

I would not give whiskey unless you know they like it. Might even offend them. One of the things I have done is look up the local farm store and get them a gift card. (Always things they can use around the ranch) Per Rocky, hand it to them in person. Small gesture, but it sets you apart and... -
