With the right bullet there are very few game animals that will walk away from a well placed .25 caliber bullet, my vote would be the 25-06 or if you want to spice things up a bit the 257 weatherby- yoda

If u can find a copy of "Wildcat Cartridges combo addition" it has a pretty good write up on the I think 3 of the Gibbs cartdriges, the 25 Gibbs 270 Gibbs and 30 Gibbs. Barnes ttsx mushroom ?
It expanded fully and the wings broke off by the looks of things. A high velocity impact with a 100gr partition out of my 25-06 looks pretty similar, front portion completely gone- yoda

Barrel twist recommendations for 22-250
For the money your putting into the rebarrel I would contact both Barns and Bartlein for their recommendations . I'm assuming since Bobcats are a target your hunting for fur ?
