How do I check that? Im curious because my unit had a near 100% success rate last year for the special draw, but I struck out. Im sure there were more apps or fewer tags for that unit this year, but Id like to check out of curiosity.
No dice... even paid up for the special draw in a unit that had a 90+% success rate for the special drawing. That's the kind of luck I have. My buddy got drawn for his, so I guess I will be trying to see what leftovers are available out there.
I agree... Wednesday day night will be like Christmas Eve for me! I might leave a bag of jerky and a fifth of Maker's on the fireplace mantle for "Tag-Santa"🤣
I had put in for an elk PP only. When I got the email today the first word I saw was "unsuccessful". What the hell? Then I realized that is just stock wording for a PP awarded. They really could put a little more effort into that 🤣
Curious... a guide told me a while back that the whitetails are more aggressive and will run the muley bucks off during the rut. So whitetail bucks breeding with muleys is a common occurence. Is that true?
Thank you for sharing all of this. Ive always heard folks talk about getting permission and paying trespass fees, but I was never sure about how to approach it.
Thank you guys for the response. Do you have to have an unsuccessful drawing on record to qualify for buying a PP in July? Or can I skip the random draw application and just buy a point when July 1 rolls around?
Happy Friday, everyone!
I apologize in advance if this has been asked before, but I've searched the forum and have not been able to find the right answers. I'm new to applying in Wyoming, but I have a few questions still.
1. I know that WY charges your CC as soon as you apply and then...
