Buy a new 357 Magnum (Which would you buy?)
So my main concern is that I might be in grizzly country hunting elk this fall. I already own an LCR .357 mag and a Super Redhawk 44 with a 9 1/2" barrel .Obviously I'm not going to carry that around with me. So that led me down the path of the GP100 in .357. I really like the idea of having 7... -

Excellent thread! I was just researching .357's. I'm partial to Ruger (That's all I own in handguns) So my pick is the 4.2" GP100 with 7 shot. -

How far do you stay upwind of elk?
High and low barometric pressure has a huge effect. Think of high pressure as a big balloon pushing your scent down, while low pressure lets it lift.
