    Got my first deer ever yesterday morning with that doe. Stayed in the stand and shot my first buck an hour later when I rattled him in. Broke both G4s fighting. It was an awesome day here in Tennessee.

    It's not just the speed and size of the bullet that are enticing. The BC on the 6.5 is superior to completable .270 bullets, with the exception of some uncommon 170 grain projectiles in existence.

    I've used chassis stocks before, my only worry is the weight. The chassis rifles I've used would not be my first choice for hauling up and down mountains for a week.
