    total archery challenge

I've never gone to an event like this. I see there are still a few Sunday spots. How does grouping go if there are 2 in your group? Is it like groups of 4 like golf? Thanks for helping the ignorant.

Two quick spot & stalk questions

I have the Killer Gear Antelope fan decoy. Its kind of like an umbrella pop up. Takes about 1 second to deploy. I'm still new to archery antelope and not as patient as needed. While stalking some antelope last year, I dropped my pack to be able to get closer. Got within 150 yards, deployed the...

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

This was the first year I hunted BMAs, during archery it was great. Very few people. Lots of animals and a great time. The begingnin of rifle season was crazy. I had been to a particular BMA about 4 or 5 times during archery and maybe saw one other person. I went on opening day of Antelope and...

    First hand Covid symptoms

I donated blood last month. They test for antibodies and told me there tests were not detecting antibodies 3+ months after someone had covid. It doesn't mean that your body can't fight it after 3 months, but whatever test the Red Cross uses wasn't detecting anything.

There are still at least 8 times the resident hunters to NR. NR hunter are increasing, but resident hunter days are also increasing

https://www.hunttalk.com/threads/the-great-misconception-montana-elk-hunting-pressure-r-vs-nr.305000/ See this post. Its not NR over crowding areas.

1% of the tags for every million acres on Block Management. Anything less than 10 million acres in Block Management means 0% outfitters tags.

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

I don't understand the argument of reducing people on public land either. NR get 1 tag for every 10 resident tags. Residents have more hunting days by 4x to 10x depending on the district. Its the residents that use public land 10 fold over NR. Additionally the outfitters claim this bill will...

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

Its not that NR that are saturating the public land. There are 10 resident tags for every 1 NR. Look at the hunter effort number on the FWP site. Residents have 4-10 times the number of hunting day as NR depending on the district. It should be this was, there should be 10 times the resident...
