Driving To AK from the lower 48.
We have done the trip, both directions, about 6 times now. No flat tires. Never ran outta gas. Don’t drive at night in Canada. Too many animals get in the roadway. Liard Hot springs requires a reservation and is totally worth it. Ship the handgun. Take an old license plate for the forest...- the nikster

I think we drew 7 elk tags and 6 deer tags between ‘86 and ‘93 and my daughter went 1 for 1 moose apps/tags. I tried for various M or S up until about 2012. Ofer. Wife drew a bull elk around 2010. We got out after 20 years with 1 tag. I use my app money to buy bullets for my Alaska hunts...- the nikster
