Absolutely. just an extra tool. All my buddies don't hunt the west anymore. I been solo for the last 5-6 years. Hunting Deer and Pronghorn in Wyoming and Montana hasn't been an issue on my feet, but I thought if I was jumping into the Elk game I should add a bike to the arsenal.- Stacking Bones

I've had several dirt bikes and quads throughout my life. so riding isn't an issue. thought with the lower seat and bigger tire and all the bolt on accessories it would make a good machine to get around on .- Stacking Bones

Montana Elk Permit Points for b tag
Ok so I show I have 4 elk permit points when I log in to my account. I went to apply for an elk b tag and it shows I have zero points and it asked if I would like to purchase a point. After reading the last line in the screen shot will the 4 be added after I buy one or am I out those 4 points?- Stacking Bones

Or maybe the Barnes 140 TSX hollow point. Faster expansion on deer,pronghorn and slightly heavier to help with elk game . Just will lose some velocity.- Stacking Bones

Maybe the Barnes TTSX 130 grain is a better option. Priced in the middle and bullet retention for elk over the ELDX and accubond and being a longer bullet it would help buck the wind at longer ranges . Should be great medicine for deer and pronghorn.- Stacking Bones

I would assume non bonded bullets have the same type separation. I shot plenty of spear , sierra type bullets and have found the jackets laying in the dirt at my shooting range. The accubonds just flat out work but the price of the ELDX is way more appealing! Lol- Stacking Bones
