How many 80" bucks do you think hunters just pass on by?
Let's make a booner (82")... with above average length(16") and prongs(7")...(46"of 82" total). This leaves roughly 36" needed for mass... Mass would be 44% of the score Length would be 39% Prongs would be 17% with average length(14") and prongs(5")...(38"of 82" total). This leaves roughly 44"... -
Is chasing Wyoming permits worth it?
My perspective... For some people it may not be worth it... But don't kid yourself, Wyoming offers a lot of bang for your $$$. especially if you are not chasing the once in a lifetime units. The option on most hunts to pursue with archery gear, then rifle, also a liberal late antlerless...- sneakem

Annual coues adventure
Well the annual coues adventure was a tough go this year. Unseasonably warm temperatures, full moon, plenty of moisture, had changed the usual deer behavior. It was tough sledding. Spent the last five days of December chasing coues with a gun and ended up eating my tag. Stayed for the... -

Haven't proved anything... you say probability, which is not certainty. Unless there is a physical corner, with a documented survey on how that corner is set, the basis of which it's set, everyone is just assuming its where it is and guessing whether I actually stepped on private or not. How do they prove exactly where I was.... innocent until proven guilty. I have a gps that show's I'm crossing at the corner with no intent on trespassing, what do they have? The landowner's calibrated memory of a property line that isn't physically marked and where I was standing? Fat chance...- sneakem

Decoy Pronghorn early August?
In my experience bowhunting early August, a good majority of the bucks are still kind of bachelored up. Not sure that decoying would be a super effective tactic. I generally find that they respond a little better after about labor day. I have no experience in NV, but plenty in other states... -
