Sat for him last night with no luck. Saw a sow and 4 fluff balls and two yearlings but not this guy. He beat us in 2024 and 2025 but is the main target now. Might need to do some tweaks to location slightly for next year- Sask hunter

Not yet. I have about given up. Unfortunately on my one bait as soon as the sow that was there all spring kicked her yearlings off she went wandering. Came through twice in random mornings and had a big BF each time. Had one big one on my other bait but he eventually wandered off too- Sask hunter

Beaver Hunting with a Deer Rifle in the Ruby Mountains in Nevada?
Spring beaver shooting is a blast. For some reason they sink in the summer but not the spring. Never shot any fall ones. I have used a 22 mag, 17 hmr, 22 and 22-250. 250 sinks them but if they are on shore that’s the way to go. 17 is my got to now. The few I shot with my 22 mag sunk but I think...- Sask hunter

Jeez I messed up guys. Caught one beaver and the second not sure what happened but he escaped the 330. So now I have an educated beaver to fight with. Did a couple dam break sets we will see if that works. I don’t have beaver foothold always trapped them with 330’s. Might be kicking a hole in...- Sask hunter

I’m not a particular fan of summer beaver work but when your paid bounty and the county calls you go. Usually gets your foot in the door for hunting permission too Threw out 6 castor mound sets to pick off hopefully most that way before I move onto the dam- Sask hunter

Several days of 90 here and windy is really drying stuff up. We planted late last week so been watering every night to hopefully get the seeds to germinate. Calling for rain this weekend hope they are right- Sask hunter
