OK, gonna toss a grenade... What's wrong with camo? Maybe because I live in Utah, not the holiest of holies (Montana), but I wear camouflage whenever I damn well feel like it. 7mm-08 not just for kids and women…
My first hunting rifle was a 7mm Rem Mag because I listened to a well known celebrity hunter (who obviously knows a lot more than I do about hunting) when choosing a caliber. I had to resort to a muzzle break to tame the beast. Of course, everyone at the range hates the guy with a muzzle break... -
Considering investing in a pair of gaiters, are they worth it?
Definitely a must have piece of gear. Had a pair of Outdoor Research gaiters that I used for a few seasons. Always did what they are supposed to do. Then I bought a pair of Kenetrek boots and they came with a pair of free gaiters. They are far better than the others and I still keep the old ones...- redhub1
