Christensen Arms, what's the verdict?
I was interested in the same Christiansen model when I was looking for a new larger caliber rifle earlier this year then I actually put my hands on it and wasn't impressed. I'm big on fit, feel and handling before I even bother to shoot it and it just didn't meet my requirements -

I’ll have to remember that, I do that with honkers and I’m pretty consistently 2 for 3 when presented the opportunity, never thought of doing it with pheasants…. Then there’s grouse, I don’t have a prayer with those things lol- razorrt5

Dogs are Hunting Partners - Let's see 'em
Copper, the offspring of a buddies dogs (he trains world class waterfowl dogs), dogs line goes back to 1870s with 3 world champion labs and countless finished titles… I’m not a great trainer but with that blood he knows what to do- razorrt5

Got my daughter a Tristar .410 semi 2 years ago for waterfowl hunting so I didn’t scare her off with recoil the first season of hunting and wouldn’t you know it….. first bird she ever shot banded!- razorrt5

Funny enough I can drop a bluebill at Mach Jesus going from left to right at 30 yards but I can’t hit a pheasant for the life of me lol- razorrt5

Bird conditions 2023
Drove through ND a few weeks ago, it was looks very good far as moisture goes. Hopefully that keeps up for the next 3-4 weeks so the ducklings can move to bigger water….. where I will shoot them in September lol- razorrt5

Much respect, I was in the 82nd for awhile during OIF and it’s amazing how many people don’t know the insane history of the jumps during the WW2… guess that band of brothers show made the 101st seem more famous but it’s far from the truth of it- razorrt5

The New Cam Hanes Flick
Cam seems legit, you can’t fake running 20+ miles a day if your heart ain’t in it, and parent a kid thats an Army Ranger and the other that owns MtnOps. I know a lot of his hunts are guided which isn’t my thing but he promotes a positive lifestyle and position on conservation so it’s hard to...- razorrt5

Planning a last minute diy elk hunt in Colorado
