The writer isn’t too knowledgeable, it faces more NNE. I’m one of the few who can say they’ve skied it when it was open (yawn). Sneaking in and fishing Catamounts spillway under the full moon was awesome in the early 80’s. You’ll get caught if you try it now. The guy they hired back then... -

Colorado deer this year, who is burning points?
I’ll burn one point to hunt 41. I most likely won’t shoot a buck but I enjoy hunting my backyard and will pass on multiple 150 bucks. -

CO 61 roads and atvs
I live nearby and spend a large amount of time in 61 and 62, both summers and hunting seasons. I find an atv, especially one less than 50”, to be very useful in getting around. I probably wouldn’t haul one from that far away though because 61 can be hunted, especially for a cow elk, without...
