WHEN WILL IT END???????? I'll be so glad for 11/04
Short answer: It will not be over. Here's my forecast, it's not related to my party affiliation. Trump is going to lose the Senate and the house at midterms. What you will be hearing about next loudly will be how it was a crooked vote, how Maga could not have lost midterms. It will never be...- Phaseolus

So, how is the retirement gig?
Congrats, I don't agree with anyone 100% but I appreciate the fact you get out there. Retirement is great, get ready to be too busy...- Phaseolus

Crested Butte recommendations
Geographically very close, by road it's a long way unless you drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle you hate over Schofield Pass. That and the pesky thing about getting a reservation, in advance, to see The Maroon Bells.- Phaseolus

Late monsoons, record El Nino...
We're finally getting rain in Palisade, Colorado. 1.5" this week and it's drizzling today. We had a bad case of Beet Curly Top Virus which wiped out tomato production, I lost 15/15 plants in my garden. The commercial guy's lost 95% of their production. We did have 100% of our peach crop...- Phaseolus

Varmints in the garden
I have been using tube traps for years on problem squirrels. Forestry supply sells them for $35. They work great on squirrels and won't kill your Wife's cat.- Phaseolus

Shotgun for Elk
It was in 1989, I just bought two five packs of Remington branded slugs. I found the flattened slug between the off ribs. It went in about 4 inches above the heart and she moved about 25 yards. -
Shotgun for Elk
I shot a cow elk years ago with a 12 gauge slug. Range was 50 yards and it worked just fine. It was a Kate season private land tag and the owner wouldn’t let me use a rifle. -

Snowboarding
I’m an oldster, been a pinhead since the days of low leather boots and lignestone edges. I used to take pleasure in kicking the butts of my alpine friends.- Phaseolus
