Boots for Hawaii (Lanai Axis Hunt)
For hunting in Lanai's terrain, lightweight and breathable boots are key due to the warmer climate. I'd suggest looking into hunting boots like the kalkal, Merrell Moab 2 Vent or the Keen Targhee Vent. They offer good traction and support while keeping your feet cool.- oscari

Hot tent vs not
I've used both hot tents and Dyneema shelters, and I find that each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Hot tents are great for staying warm in cold weather, but they can be heavy and bulky. Dyneema shelters are lightweight and easy to carry, but they can be cold in cold weather.- oscari
