In flux at the moment. House sold in Cape Cod and exploring a possible move to MT. Will be checking out some areas in SW MT as possible places to live and heading to eastern MT for the lope hunt.- OceanandMountains

I have a 900 MT antelope tag and plan to be in MT for the last 2 weeks of Sept. I’ve never hunted antelope but looking forward to trying spot a stalk hunt this fall. No, but my thought are this: MT, WY, ID and CO are top choices. Drawing WY w/o points is about 10% so put in for a pref point this year for future use. I have a pref point for MT and I at least know some areas so I wouldn’t be starting at ground level- and till I get my first elk that’s a huge...- OceanandMountains

Glad to hear it played out the way it did but it def feels like hitting a bear with a rock could also get a very different response. Looking back do you think that since you already had your gun in hand you could have also just tried to back away and let him move on?- OceanandMountains

Quick Montana trip
Sounds a lot like my trip except I just got back to NY after driving to Dillon area, hunting archery for 2 weeks and then staying for the MT rifle opener, then driving back 5k miles total with no meat to show for it. Congrats on a good trip and good job making it sound easy!- OceanandMountains
