Just brought home the new bow...
For now a target is a great alternative , I couldn't stand letting a new bow sit . Can't tell you how many times I stood in the snow just to shoot . -

Do Limbsavers work ?
Put them on a bow when they first came out with them , it had a 6 1/4 brace height and told you what to do . After the limb saver installation (on the limbs , also use them on the string now) it tamed it down good . You have a bow that shouldn't need it ; but ? -

I've been shooting quick spins for several years now (started with 4" vanes and went to 3"last year) and I've never heard the noise that was mentioned about them . As for them slowing down , I only shoot out to 40 and it didn't change my pin when I first switched . Never tried the heat shrink... -

Looking for some advice
I would highly recommend paper tuning . That will tune/adjust the other half of the machine (you) to the tuned ( just checked for specs actually ) bow . Then you will be as one . -

shooting accuracy
Sounds like I use a system similar to Chuck Adams , at least on whitetail . I consider my max effective range in the field to be a six inch group ; so on the range a four inch group is what I look for .With a bow I always throw in that "stuff happens" factor . That's kept me at 100% at 40 , 50... -

There are many books out there on the subject , try a google . In lines are easy , side locks have the little things to learn , especially flint lock . The main thing starting out is that "you" are making the charge , and optimum is alot better than max . You also have an excellent way to...- mrd
