I agree permit/license sales should help fund the budget. I simply don’t want incentive to increase permit/license numbers or price to increase the budget. Maybe I’m misinformed and this isn’t an issue?- mr_steve

Very good point that private land hunting has improved and public has declined. I think several of the decision makers like the director are heavily influenced by private land owners and outfitters that are looking to selfishly benefit from this disparity by changing rules rather than balance it...- mr_steve

Anyone live near Rawlins, WY?
Odd question but on Monday I’m meeting my hunting buddy in Rawlins to hop in with him and continue on to AZ for his elk hunt. I’m looking to leave my car somewhere near Rawlins for 10 days or so but not sure where to do that. Any advice is appreciated! -Steve- mr_steve

Fairbanks in June
One idea is to make a loop down to Denali NP/Healy then head East across the Denali Highway then up through Delta Junction and back to Fairbanks. Very scenic loop for coming out of Fairbanks.- mr_steve
