I just moved up to Statesville NC from Florida. If anyone is in the western half of the state, give me a shout. It looks like we have some opportunities for all sorts of critters.
Got my first turkey this year. A big ol' Osceola with 1-1/4" spurs and about a 9" beard. Hiked four miles and had to slink through an irrigation canal to make the deal.
I've started writing paid articles and blog posts for other companies, specifically those with outdoor focus. It's not a good but it is a service and certainly personal.

Welcome! gorgeous land up that way. I've only hunted in the Ocala area and now down here in South Florida. There is a BHA chapter for Florida that puts on hunts during the year.
