The Elk Hunters Wife

Glassing location recommendations
Well thought out question, definitely something I have struggled with in the field. I am curious to see what input others have. My guess is people will say you should be glassing the North facing slopes, but have a plan to access multiple glassing locations. Obviously things may look different... -

I absolutely agree with Vanish. I was naive and thought with all of the units this tag encompassed I'd be able to find something. There just aren't whitetails living west of I-25. If you have OnX, chances are we selected the same places to hunt. Shoot me a PM and I can give you details of... -

I tried it last year. Was able to find enough places to hunt to fill an entire day, but overall it was extremely difficult and I didn't see a thing (outside of mulies). Feel free to PM if you have additional questions. -
