Peak 44 blacktooth and bastion are both great stocks as well. Prefer the privateer to any of the AG or pure precision options -

Brake recommendation
APA and Meraki machine both make good self timing side port brakes. I prefer the meraki. -

Bone saw
Have tried several, including Wyoming saw. This cheap craftsmans works just as well as a silky. I just zipped two moose apart with it lickety split! And it only weighs 7oz. Haven’t carried the Wyoming saw in years...- KU_Geo

Federal Premium 200gr Terminal Ascents 300WM - Can anyone give me a review?
similar to comments above. Small sample size but great performance on 2 cow elk (400 and 460yds). I view them as about the most versatile big game bullet made. In my 300win mag they are 80fps faster than published, so be sure to chronograph if you are doing any longer range shooting.- KU_Geo

Buy new stock or leave alone?
Either keep it how it is or I’d rebarrel if you want it to shoot better 5-6 shot groups. I think a stock will be a waste of money unless you rebarrel.
