I have been wanting to try Go Hunt. From what you stated it seems like I should give it a try.

I agree that if you are going to do your first DIY mule deer hunt Nebraska might not be the first place I would choose. I would suggest a location that has better mule deer numbers and a better success %

Discouraged and weather

I am also looking to do a DIY hut mule deer hunt in Montana or Wyoming . I agree that scouting a day before opener would be the best option for success. However I am always looking for advice on where to go and how best to hunt

Minnesota Whitetail inaction - Try the same place again?

I feel your pain! I have had the same feelings, "should I stay or should I go?" I believe that if you see the sign in the area, the deer are there, just wait them out. You can continue to bow hunt into December. I am hoping to find a good one now that the woods have quieted a bit since rifle is...
