Threading a barrel near Helena
I’ve got machining experience, that is a very true statement!!! The most IMPORTANT STATEMENT relating to machining, is “There’s no such thing as cutting too little.” You can always do 2nd or 3rd pass to insure precision. Hunting with a suppressed rifle?
It will somewhat be helpful, but unless your using sub-sonic bullet then suppressor won’t work to its potential.....other considerations will be 1)tapering of the barrel. A lot of rifle barrels are too thin to thread and withstand the back pressure created using a suppressor. 2). For a 243win...- kentucky_rifleman2020

Franchi Momentum 300 Win Mag
I recently purchased a Franchi Momentum 300 win mag w/24 in. threaded barrel w/muzzle brake. It’s my 1st long-bolt (actually 2nd, I’d had Win 70 Ultimate Shadow 338 win mag.
