    We hunted 40 2014 type 9. We got into elk, had a good time, but we for sure worked for it. Talking to locals its more of a migration unit.

    You will be fine. With deer it's all about water. Find the water, and you find the deer. I think you may want to play with the onxmap on your phone. My son had it last year. It worked great with signal, but sucked without. Idk what the problem was, but he said, he didn't download all the maps...

    Every state is different it seems. I guess the law makes sense, when a lot of guys would waste, or leave meat. To an ethical guy, who knows what he is doing, it makes no sense at all.

    Smoked BBQ Goose Breast

    We got creative the last time we smoked goose. Take a small piece of smoked goose. Add cream cheese & a couple jalapeno on top. Wrap with a slice of bacon, insert tooth pick/skewers & grill. Taste best with Budlight!

    When they start touching, we start backing up. My best LR rifles, suck at a 100 yrds...1" groups is about the best they will do.

    We did a combo in 2012. Don't do it unless you have either a lot of time, or some private. I'd suggest getting antelope doe tags with your bucks tags while building a few more points for deer. You guys will have a blast, and if you don't fill the doe tags your not out much money.
