    World Topo Map (Android, probably on iPhone as well) — it gives you the elevation lines, and allows you to switch between ▪map view, with an overlay of the street map of GoogleMaps, and ▪satellite view. The free version has ads. Matthias

    Instread of a case I use a thick neoprene sleeve attached to my belt, and with a zipper. So far, the phone's been just fine. And no bulge in my pant pocket, especially from a big phone with an even bigger armor-plated case.... 🤣 Of course, you could put the phone in your jacket pocket...

    The deer in the jungle regiones of Peru are rather small and stocky. Friends of mine found(!) a baby deer on a jungle hike whose mother must have gotten shot by some locals. They brought it to the city and raised it in their backyard. It was the darnest thing...! 🤣 Matthias

    Hawke Rifle Scopes
