    Grizzly Bear Attack in Canada I heard this the other day on the news ... grizzly attacks school children on a "field trip" and injures eleven. This is pretty much unheard of, most of the time it's one or maybe two people.

    30-06 130 TTSX Enough for Cow Elk?

    I've harvested a number of elk with a 30-06 (cows and bulls). I prefer 180 grain bullets; brand doesn't really matter. Pick one grain and brand; just shoot them without thought to 130, 165, 180 grain or TSX, TTSX, LRX ... Don't over think it.

    I purchased Chugach rain jacket and pants from KUIU several years ago. They are light-weight, and they do not take up much space (roll them up) in my pack. I actually use the pants as snow pants in the winter for downhill or cross-country skiing. They fit great over sweats or KUIU long...
