    brymoore, good deal on the tenting. I've done that for several years with lettuce with a winter blanket and it was already inside a small hothouse. It's always surprising come spring. If we were closer we would have taken a bunch of pears. Other half loves them. Good job on pressing them.

They can't learn how to handle balance, corners and other things. A atv was more dangerous because how easy they can flip...

    I had some beet seeds that I had planted. Never came up. Then after a bunch of rain I have beets popping up. The seed laid dormant all summer.

    If you hold a agate up to the sun you should see a halo/glow from the sun around the edge of the rock so you know its a agate.

    Good for you JShane. I enjoy my seasons and a break. But I still don't have to worry about gators, hurricanes and whatever else creepy crawlers you have down there.

    Poll - One all around single cartridge under conditions

    I use a 6.5 CM now. Really like it for hunting everything. But prefer a .243 for deer. I have a muzzle brake on the 6.5. With a total reversed replaced shoulder can't shoot anything bigger without a possible dislocation. Doctors orders.

    As of today the whole garden will be done. Pulled carrots last week. Going to pull the green tomatoes off and pull the plants. Not enough sun to really ripen the tomatoes. Running the heater of a night is okay but can't keep it up. Major cold coming in this weekend. It's time will have tomatoes...
